Dave Scott, six-time Ironman World Championship winner, educates and inspires athletes of all abilities and ages, leading sports, clinics and races across the country and running his own training group in Boulder, CO. Dave combines years of wisdom, wit and creativity to his passion for helping other. Dave is excited to offer his expertise and enthusiasm to Team Timex.
When David Goggins first joined the military, he weighed 290 lbs and couldn’t even run to the mailbox. Today David is a Navy Seal and a serious competitor in many of the world’s toughest endurance races. Through his racing, he has helped to raise money to put over 250 children through college last year. Timex is proud to sponsor David in his 2009 Race Across America.
Founded in 2004, Team Type 1 has grown from an eight-person team of cyclists that won the Race Across America in 2006 and 2007 to now include men's and women's professional race teams, a triathlon team and a development team.
