Timex National Road Race Series

Canada’s only National Road Race Series, the Timex Series encompasses 9 series in all provinces across the country. Developed by Timex in 1989, in conjunction with the branch associations of Athletics Canada, the TNRRS has over 110 races with in excess of 150,000 participants.
The TNRRS reflects the growing popularity in 5 K and 10 K running as we continue to see the base of participation increasing each year. The TNRRS now an integral part of the road running scne in Canada, designed for all runners from the beginner to the elite competitor. The Timex Series culminates in the National 10K Final held at the end of the provincial series.

Subaru Ironman Canada

Timex Canada has been a major sponsor of the event since 1992, first as title and currently the bike course and timing sponsor. In partnership with Graham Fraser and North America Sports, Timex has assisted in raising the profile of IMC with national consumer and retail promotions. As the most successful licensee of the World Triathlon Corporation with the Timex Ironman Watch, this relationship is a ‘natural’.

The original Ironman event in North America, Subaru Ironman Canada is still one of the favourite stops on the Ironman schedule. Each year, in the early hours of the morning after the event, athletes line up to enter in the race for next year – it is full by the end of the day!

Speed Skating Canada

Timex Canada has been a proud sponsor of Speed Skating Canada since 1992. SSC is one of Canada’s leading winter sports; it’s athletes winning over half the Canadian team medals in every Winter Olympics since the 1998 Nagano Games.

A relative newcomer to the triathlon scene, Timex is a founding sponsor of this property. Built on the concept of healthy lifestyle, family participation and ‘a place for everyone’ the Multisport series has grown to include 10 races in just six years.
In keeping with the series focus, Multisport Canada hosts a number of ‘Intro to Triathlon’ seminars in communities where the Ontario based series races take place.

TriSport Triathlon Series

Timex has been a part of the world’s largest Triathlon Series since the early 1990’s. This Ontario based series has over 14,000 competitors from the elite of the sport to those participating for the first time in a try-a-tri.
The popularity of triathlon has been demonstrated by the growing support of the series and viewer ship of the related Triathlon TV series aired nationally on TSN.
